Get Involved

The Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited is made up of over 240 members.  We are all volunteers and the volunteers are the ones who do all the work for the Chapter.  Our mission is to conserve, protect, and restore the cold water fisheries and their watersheds in North Central Pennsylvania. 

How can you get involved with our Chapter?

  1. Come to our monthly meetings.  We have a variety of topics that include an annual picnic, annual Watershed Summit, meeting with Fish and Boat Commission representatives
  2. We have an annual fly tying class open to everyone and is free.  The class is for beginners through advanced
  3. We have an active Project Healing Waters program with fly tying class’s and fishing trips
  4. We work with the boy and girl scouts and provide fishing instruction to them
  5. We are involved in Trout in the classroom with area schools and participate in field days each spring when they release the fingerlings into area streams
  6. we do water quality monitoring on area streams
  7. Work with area Watershed Groups and others to restore cold water fisheries
  8. Sign up to be on our mailing list.  Generally we send only 1 email a month
  9. An so much more!!!
