The Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited would like to wish all of you the best of luck tomorrow and throughout the Trout Season.  This is a time that we all wait for and think about all winter long.  Remember, there is so much more to fishing than catching a trout.  It’s the memories, the time shared with family, friends or enjoying the solitude of being by ourselves, and being out in nature.

This fishing season, take a child or someone who doesn’t fish with you.  Share your love of the sport with them and let them experience what the great outdoors has to offer.  Every fish that is caught, or seen, is a trophy, no matter how big.

Take pictures of your adventures and send them in to the Chapter so that we can share them with others.  We are also looking for short articles or stories for our newsletter.  We are especially interested in stories and pictures involving kids.  Have the kids write a story and draw pictures of their experiences.

We must also remember that we are all stewards of the land and water.  Let us keep the land and streams we fish in better condition that the way we found it.  If there is trash, please pick it up and dispose of properly.

Good luck to all of you and hope to see you on the water.
