Local Streams Fished by Angling Legends and Famous Personalities

A very interesting public meeting of Susquehanna Chapter TU on Wednesday, April 12th at 7 PM will explore how our beautiful streams of Northcentral PA became favorites of nationally known fishing luminaries, authors, innovators, and angling getaways for notable public figures including U.S. Presidents, Vice Presidents and Senators. Over the past 60-70 years, Chapter members Bill O’Connor and Don Daugenbaugh have met, hosted, guided, and become friends with many of these prominent people. Along with other Chapter members, Bill and Don will share their unique experiences and times on our local streams with such memorable characters. The meeting will be at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall at the Rear of 102 East Third Street in Williamsport.
