
John was a member of the Susquehanna Chapter for over 50 years. During that time, he became a life member, served as President, Vice President, many years as a Director as well as serving on the Nominating Committee, Trout Kick Off Committee and the Legislative Committee.

John H. Mosher peacefully passed on April 9, 2022 at his home in Upper Darby, Pa. surrounded by his loving family. John was born on Jan. 30, 1933 in Palmyra, N.Y., son of the late Howard and Dorothy Mosher. John served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. After serving his country, he attended Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in 1959 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
In 1960, John moved to Williamsport, as a sales representative for Hallmark Greeting Cards. In 1963, John joined Williamsport Paper Company where he was employed for over 30 years as a sales representative and sales manager. John was an avid fisherman, hunter and sportsman. He served as president of Trout Unlimited and Newberry Lion’s Club. He was also a member of the VFW, Ducks Unlimited, Loyalsock Men’s Club, Penn State Nittany Lion Club, Old Lycoming Little League, Williamsport Area High School Basketball Boosters and Newberry United Methodist Church.
On April 29, 1967, John married Patricia Feist. They had 55 wonderful years together and have 2 children. John is survived by his wife, Patricia and son, Glenn of Upper Darby, Pa.; his daughter, Doreen; his daughter-in-law, Lauren Harrison; and his grandson, Quinn Mosher Harrison of Merion Station, Pa.
A celebration of life will be held in the Williamsport area at a later date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions or donations be made to Trout Unlimited or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
