Bill O’Connor

It is with a heavy heart that we have to report that Bill O’Connor has passed away. Bill was a founding member of our Chapter and played a key role in the success of our Chapter and in the protection of the cold water fisheries in our area. He touched the lives of thousands and thousands of people and his influence will be felt for generations to come. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Karen and Chuck and the entire family.

This is a link to his obituary that appeared in the Williamsport Sun Gazette on March 27, 2023.

  1. On behalf on my family it is much appreciated that you had my father’s passing in you newsletter. My dad always talked about trout unlimited and I have many fine memories of going to meetings with him and attending TU events. I was part of the Grays Run project and still remember it vividly. Again thanks for the kind words
